Remembering Grandpa Scott
Our Grandfather, Scott Thomas Jr., passed away March 8, 2008. I’ve built a small memorial website for our Grandpa Scott at http://www.n6lgb.com

I’ve upload photos and a link to my Grandpa’s autobiography. Please visit the website and let me know what you think.

4th and 18… BYU Wins!
For the last year Ute fans have suffered through constant reminders of the ‘06 game from Cougar fans, with the line “Harline is still open!”
This year Cougar fans should switch it up a bit. Today, with under a minute to play, 4th down and 18 yards to go, Max Hall hit Austin Collie - who was WIDE OPEN for a 49 yard strike. It was a thing of beauty.
The taunt should now be “Collie is still open!”

Dad and Jordan Celebrating - Go Cougars!
BYU vs. Utah License Plate Prank
My brother-in-law, Bryan (a huge Utah fan) and I have gone back and forth regarding the BYU/Utah rivalry. Every year, since Marie and I were engaged, we’ve called each other to talk smack after each game. It has since changed to include a variety of pranks.
Last year, Bryan and his wife Cathy put a University of Utah Alumni license plate cover on our car. It was strategically placed on the front of our car so that we wouldn’t notice it. We finally found it several days later - but I was disgusted to think we had driven around with it on our car for so long.
In retaliation, Marie and I decided that a similar desecration of their vehicle seemed appropriate. Marie painted over the red in the license plate cover with Cougar blue:
The blue definitely makes these words a little easier to swallow.
Marie put the plate cover on the rear license plate of their van, the night they drove home to California. They didn’t find it for several days later - they even went to Church on Sunday with them on ![]()
The LeBaron Boys’ School Pictures
Josh, Tyler, Ben, and Justin just got their school pictures back, and they have to be the best pictures they’ve ever taken! Can you just see how happy they are to be here in Utah?! It’s awesome!
Where Dreams Come True
We had a fabulous time in Disneyland. Our family is wiped out from 4 days of fun, but we could have stayed longer. For a detailed account of the fun, check out my other blog for a Disneyland Update!

Utah here we come!
Yeah! We’re getting so excited for the entire LeBaron gang to finally be together - I have to keep pinching myself. Who would have ever thought? Mom and Dad, you are so lucky to have all of your kids and grandkiddies all within a 45 minute drive - how awesome is that?! We just have to make it through 2 more crazy days of packing and then we’re planning on loading up the U-Haul on Saturday, spending the night at Tyson’s little sister, Ashlee, and her husband’s place in Cedar City, and then making the rest of the trip on Sunday. Tyson doesn’t start work until the 1st, and we close on our house next Friday, the 28th - keep your fingers crossed that all goes well leading up the closing date - we’re not celebrating until our keys are in our hands. We’ll post a picture of our cute little home-to-be, as soon as I can figure out how to work wordpress…
Trip to Dowdy Lake with Grandma & Grandpa
We just took our camper on it’s first “dry camping” experience! We spent last weekend with Grandma & Grandpa Williams up at Dowdy Lake. It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. We had the time of our lives fishing, hiking, rock climbing (the rocks were three time the size shown on the picture below…can you see the fear in Tyler’s face?!), craw fish catching, swimming, etc….it was a BLAST! We have to plan a trip with each of you in the camper at a destination like Dowdy Lake…it will be an unforgettable experience!
The Boys First Day of School
It’s been a while since we’ve posted…actually, we’ve never posted! ;) We now have four of our six in school, so as you can imagine life at the LeBaron home is very quiet! What’s Becky going to do when the other two start…yikes?!?! I hope you like the shots! This year is Justin’s first year in school…can you just see the excitement in his face!?
Octopus Crime… More Than Meets the Eye
This morning when I was getting ready for work, Matt explained to me that the name of his new Transformers toy is “Octopus Crime”. I almost peed my pants laughing. For those who might not know, the powerful, robot superhero is Optimus Prime.

Kids say the darnedest things:)
